September 2016:  
Approval to fundraise granted by Town Forum
First public exhibition of plans at St Bart’s Church fete with boards, model & CGI produced by AR

October 2016:  
Website (www.thepavilionproject.com), logo and sponsorship documents designed
Two-day public exhibition at the existing cricket pavilion (comments logged)

November 2016:
MyDonate and Easyfundraising sites set up


December 2016:
Christmas cards delivered to city centre properties
Discussions with potential contractors re build and costs

January 2017:
Fundraising quiz night at The Corner House
Meeting with senior HCB executives at The Ageas Bowl
Update to Town Forum

March 2017:
CIC (Community Interest Company) established
Sport England application submitted

April 2017:
Exhibition held at the King Alfred Trophy cricket matches at North Walls
Hampshire County Council (HCC) grant application submitted

May 2017:
HCC grant application successful

June 2017:
The Hyde Ball, in aid of The Pavilion Project, held at the rugby club
Crowdfunding discussions
That’s Hampshire TV news piece filmed at the pavilion

July 2017:
Planning application meetings held with AR/WCC

August 2017:
Exhibition in cricket pavilion during HCB women’s softball cricket festival
Sport England grant application successful

September 2017:
Meeting with ECB at The Ageas Bowl
Town Forum update and approval granted to continue fundraising during 2018

October 2017:
The Winchester Pavilion Project granted charitable status as a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation)
Meeting with WCC re planning application
Planning application submitted

November 2017:
Attended Action Hampshire’s Community Buildings/Fundraising seminar
Planning application live; decision target date of January 12th 2018
Vote-chasing for Aviva Community Fund; flyers delivered to local households.  Votes received were 2,385

December 2018:
Fundraising Christmas Shopping event in support of The Pavilion Project

January 2018:
Planning consent granted for the new pavilion at North Walls Recreation Ground

February 2018:
New marketing material and website discussion and brief
Several grant applications submitted

March 2018:
Update to Town Forum
The Pavilion Project featured in Waitrose (Winchester) green tokens scheme

April 2018:
Further discussions with HCB/ECB at The Ageas Bowl
Attended park run Winchester 5th anniversary event, displayed exhibition boards

May 2018:
New website launched, along with marketing material
Further grant applications submitted
Technical design details completed
